Change Recording info?

Just was wondering can you change the date for a saved recorded show? Like I recorded a rerun episode that I missed the other day but it actually aired months ago. So instead of having it say recorded 01-07-2008 can I change the date to like xx-xx-2007 so it's in the correct order of the episode list in the recordings folder?

I thought maybe I figured it out changed the info in the recording-dump file but that didn't seem to change it.

You can edit it with SQLite database tool like SQLiteSpy, but you'd need to know a little SQL to do it.
