Hi, I have tuned all channels for both DVB-T & DVB-S on HVR-3000 card and are able to view these channels on LiveTV, but when it comes to recording at the same time both fails (nothing is being recorded just two small files with channels numbers), if I records just DVB-T alone it will record but not DVB-S? Any ideas pls?

From what I've read this device isnt able to do DVB-T and DVB-S at the same time. It can only record one or the other, but not both.

Hi, thx for your reply. Hmm...so much for tri-tuner = dual tuner. On another note, would you mind take a look at my logs files pls as I can't seem to be able to record any DVB-S channels? thx

Actually, I think Hauppauge are careful not to say tri-tuner. If you look at their website they say:

WinTV-HVR-3000 features
[Image: bullet.gif]Triple mode free-to-air TV receiver:
Digital satellite DVB-S
Digital terrestrial DVB-T Freeview
Analog PAL cable or TV aerial TV

The devices is really an extension of the "hybrid" idea of capture devices that lots of other manufacturers make (ie, digital + analog in the one device, but not dual tuner).

I cant see anything obvious in your logs. Is the y: drive a physical drive attached to the PC or a mapped network drive?

I'm not really sure. Everything looks ok in the logs.

Maybe try setting the following in config.xml:

<BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord>true</BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord>
