I got a DVico FuisonHD Gold Card last summer, mainly to try and get some HD. My setup recently went HD, so i wanted some channels. I started with ATSC, OTA signals, however I realized I could get much better quality through the standard cable. I get the same channels. With Sub's amazing help, i was able to get my card working with QAM. Simply add this to your BDA.INI
[Dvico FusionHD 5 Gold QAM]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
TUNING_SPECIAL=2
FILTER_TUNER=FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner1
FILTER_CAPTURE=FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture1
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
That will get you basic functions. Now is where I have questions.
How does GB assign channel numbers? Using the DVico software, i found many channels, and I had written them down in hopes of being able to use the tunings to program GB, since it is easier to browse channels without info or anything. When I scan my digital channels with DVico software, i get from 0 to around 8000, obviously not every channel, but at least a hundred or so. It does not display encrypted ones, however I can look and see where they are.
The one's I want to use are 814.1, 818.1, 829.1, 900.1, 901.1, 902.1, 910.1, 911.1, 912.1, 1000.1, 1001.1, 1027.1, 1078.1, 1090.1, 1091.1, 1092.1, 1093.1, 1094.1, 1095.1, 1096.1, and 1097.1
When I scan with GB software, i only get from 1-138 to scan, and all of these channels are encrypted. The are labeled Unknown 1-11, ocassionally displaying 000(AC3), however i never hear sound nor see video for any of these. I was wondering if there would be any way to use the numbers i got from DVico to just input them straight into GB somewhere. Otherwise i would need to be able to extend the scan from 138 to 1100ish.
I love GB and if I was able to get it working with HD it would be AMAZING. Thanks in advance.
