My system has been stable and working happily since upgrading to 1.16 - but in the last week I have had a few recordings fail where the directory has been created, but not files are there - not even the temp DVR-MS "buffer" files.

The log says: "ERROR Failed to find BDA tuner filter:"

Any ideas why this would work one day but not the next?

I'd guess either you've installed a new version of the drivers and they've changed the name of the filters, or there is something buggy about the drivers that stops them functioning.

I'm innocent - I've not changed anything. Big Grin

I'll check the registration of the drivers and probably update them anyway.

While we may never know (or care) why at least we know what is responsible.
I like Zheds sig. " I used to ask why - now I just reinstall"

Thanks for the help.
