Just bought an hauppauge 150-mfe

It doesn't fit into my mini itx cases even with the flexible PCI riser adapter that I bought for that purpose. I am trying to find a way of fitting it inside without changing for a bigger case. I am wondering if the card would still work in your opinion if I were to unsolder the TV-Tuner part of the card (don't plan on using Coax anyway)

Oh well, I'm gonna try on a cheap tv tuner card I already had and let you know how it goes.

Well, my little experiment is over and it apear that the card have survived. I am now watching a video feed from a card with removed analog coax TV tuner module. Look like it might work on my 95$ new hauppauge card. Maybe it's gonna fit this time around
