Picture library not displaying AVI files

Most digital cameras take short AVIs as well as still pictures.
When I browse the pictures library, GBPBR does not display
any of the AVI files, nor plays them.

I know it could play them no problem (if I put them in the video library).
Could the pictures library be made to show AVI files and play them as well?

Try adding AVI to the the <PhotoLibraryExtensions> list in config.xml.
