FYI... Here's the feedback I got from Hauppauge:

Hello

There is no way of adjusting the audio source except through the application
you would be using. Have you tried other 3rd party programs like SageTV or
BeyondTV. You might want to see if they show the same problems as you are
seeing in GBPVR.
