my wishlist:

email-notifications:

send an email to a specified recipient(s) (over a smtp-relay) at:
- recording successfully done, description (from epg)
 (recipients can be choose for every recording-task)
- recording failed (reason)
- recording conflicts
- epg update success/fail
- free diskspace is under *mb

write descritionfiles for every recording-file (infos from epg) and display the infos in the video-library.

Have a look at the plugin section, Xrecord e.g.
Wasn't also a batch file run at the end of every recording, (or was it only after the EPG got updated)? Maybe this could be combined into something....
