You will have to give a bit more info. Does it come out of standby for a start?
What tuner(s)
Or do you mean the PC goes into standby whilst recording? Logs would probably help the boss as well to diagnose.

Just for info, mine works fine going into standby and waking up to record - so the base gbpvr does as intended. Most problems I guess would revolve round windows and/or drivers.

It may also depend on what type of standby you have the power settings to and what is supported by your motherboard.

Do you have pre-padding set to anything as well?

I set the recording and wait for the PC to go standby and after that I the recording shows failed. Another way is after I set the recording and goto system of GBPVR and set it to standby the samething happen where the recording failed. I specifically test out this function after upgrade to 1.2.9 cause previously this is one thing always occur to alot of users here. In the previous version I don't have this problem Is there any setting in the config that I may have changed since upgrade? Thanks.

There are no settings for this. Its actually a very simple method, that hasnt changed in years.

If you search your GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log files you'll find messages like "Asking Windows to be awake for recording at xxxxxxxx". As long as you see those messages for the recordings you schedule, then GB-PVR is doing its thing.

I check the gbpvrrecording log and the wake window is there. But the recording still failed when PC goes to standby. Please see attached. Thanks.
