I have 2 tuner cards installed, both set as analog, and only an analog cable feed through a splitter to both tuner cards. If I blatantly record two shows at the same time, it works fine, using both tuners.
The problem comes when I have 2 successive shows on different channels. I have the defaults set for 2 minutes pre- and post- padding. If the first show is recording on say channel 10 from 8:00 to 9:00, and the second show is set to record channel 2 from 9:00 to 10:00 invariably the first show cuts off before it ends, and the second show has the tail end of whatever came before it. I've tried setting the padding figures for longer padding, but it doesn't work. I don't know how to "prove" this, but it seems to me that if the second tuner was coming into play, I should be able to see 2 minutes after the first show AND the 2 minutes before the second, i.e. a 4 minute overlap, but I am not seeing that.
Help, please!
