I just managed to get my HVR-900H going yesterday. However after scanning the DVB-T channels and watching livetv just once I get .NET runtime errors below for both config.exe and pvrx2.exe. It refuses to run again ever after rebooting.

I uninstalled and reinstalled vcredist, dotnetfx and gbpvr1.2.9 twice before I was able to get it working again. But like before I get the .NET runtime error after watching livetv just once and now refuses to run anymore like before.

I'm stumped as to how to find the cause of this problems. I thought it may be Cyberlink Powercinema the first time round so I uninstalled and replaced it with PowerDVD instead and still the same problem occurred.

Any suggestions?

Reproduce the problem in PVRx2 and post your pvrx2*.log files.

The error means that pvrx2 doesn't even run. There are no logs entered for GBPVR since it doesn't even execute.

To get over the problem, I wipe the system and reset XP back to original factory install.
