Go to the Windows Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services -> GBPVR Recording Service, right click to view properties, then change the account.

Hi, actually I have another question.

How does recording service communicate with the database (stores recording schedule) Can I install GBpvr on a file server with no TV capature card, and set up GB PVR on a separate dedicated PVR computer as its client and actually do the recording? PVR computer will be in sleep state most of the time. Will this set up work?

Thanks,
Eugene

You should put the TV Card from your PVR into the Server, configure this one as server and install and configure your PVR as GBPVR Streaming Client.

Then this will work, as you imagine.

I ran into the same issues trying to record to a share on my unRAID nas. I "fixed" it by creating an account with the same user/pwd and letting that account run the service. I also had to add the path manually to the config.xml because i couldnt browse to it.
