Strange echo on TV3

Hi - I upgraded to 1.2.13 and the latest Monogram filter.

On TV3 (New Zealand) I'm getting a sound synchronisation problem - it sounds like there's an echo going on! It's distinct, but I can still hear the soundtrack clearly. Some programs and ad's don't have the problem, but most seem to.

Can anyone suggest anything?

Hi again,

I've done some experimentation with various filters and different options. I've discovered the strange echo effect doesn't occur if I restart the recording service and view live-TV on TV3 first. But if I change channels to TV3, the echo appears. I haven't been able to repeat this reliably but when I can I'll report the specific symptoms. The issue appears on both TV3 and TV3(AC3).

Anyone have anything I should look at?

Did you ever manage to solve this echoing thing? I'm having the same problem - just with TV3 - and it's doing my head in. I've fiddled with aac codecs for ages but nothing seems to make any difference.

Having the same problem. Only on TV3 and only on recordings tho. Sometimes an echo the same as the soundtrack, other times a low frequency echo. Latest monogram filter and Cyberlink H264 decoder.

Anyone got an answer to this one? I assume that this is not new and there is an existing fix. Can someone point to the relevant thread, or do we need to supply more info?

OK I have just read the instructions for posting threads. Attached is the log files. I am running 1.2.13

Sorry, I cant think of any reason for this this, and nothing stands out in the logs.

I no longer have the echo on TV3 in recordings. Don't know exactly the reason that it is fixed, the only thing I have done is to download and install the freeware 6 in 1 video codec pack from filehippo. Can't guarantee this was the fix tho. If someone else who has this problem tries it, it may confirm.
