Hey there people, I hope somone can help with my prob. I have similar problems, but temp folder exists. The radio stations work on vlc but not in GBPVR. Sorry little new to GBPVR, which log file should I be looking at to diagnose my problem?

Zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

In this case either your recording service isnt running, or there is some firewall software getting in the way of communication between the frontend app and the recording service.

I thought it might be something to do with internet explorer security settings with the ie 6 ? as I have noticed it stop certain content even though I have changed the security settings could this be related ?

No, it wont be to do with your IE6 settings. It'll most likely be that either your recording service isnt running or you have some firewall software on your machine getting in the way.

You could try using a basic network sniffer to see what is or isn't happening. SmartSniff from http://www.nirsoft.net (free) helped me solve my Net Radio problems. It was a proxy problem in my case.
