black screen issue on resume from standby after recording

Ok, so i've found the above is happening fairly frequently to me, and i have also searched and found that Ged has made a script based on startgbpvr which *might* get around this - however, im not familiar with autoit and the script he has doesnt seem to agree with my system (obviously i have to change it a bit) - and even if i do change it, im not sure i have it set up right!

is there a fix to this that i havent found in search? To remove the black screen, i have to alt-f4 - i have set up a script using my remote to do this, however it seems to not be very reliable.

any help appreciated - this is pretty much my last hurdle into making my system perfect!

i have similar issue infrequently, although was a vista problem (i think) and a couple of post sp1 patches seem to have got rid of it (although not 100% certain..)
