I just setup my HDHomerun. GBPVR see's it and can scans channels which I have mapped. Seems that I still can't watch (black window) or record any HD channels (just snow when played back)

GB-PVR is version: 1.2.13
HDHomerun firmware is: 20080723
Set <BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnLivePreview> to 'true' (Didnt fix)

Attached my GB-PVR PVRX2 logs. (Which contains errors)
Tried to watch a channel. Then tried to quick record it.

Would love to get this going before the Olympics Fri night! Help!

Can you set the logging level back to 'debug' and repeat and repost the logs?

Done. Debug version of PVRX2 files attached.
When I tried to watch a channel it just popped back right away to the guide.
Tried that 3 times. Then had it record a channel for 15-20 secs. Just snow in the file. Thanks Sub.

It looks like something wrong with the devices you added to the bda.ini file. (the [Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 010163F2-1] entry)

Can you double check that? If you cant spot the problem, zip and attach your bda.ini and I'll take a look.

I don't see anything odd. I "X"d out part of my tuner id numbers.
bda.ini is attached.

Note: Initially I had the start of the ID's transposed to 010163F2, later changed it back to 101063F2 and it started to map channels. It's picking up the old id 010163F2?

I've already posted your serial number, so you might as well post the original unaltered bda.ini. The tuner id was one of things I wanted to double check in your file.

From the logs I can tell the app is treating your device as a DVB-S. It does this if it doesnt find an exact match in the bda.ini file.

I noticed that afterwords. Some good news. I can see a pic now. I went back into config to double check that it was showing the correct serial number. It was. But it was pointed to tuner0 and not tuner1. Just have an attenna on tuner1. So looks like I'm good to go. Thanks for your "Super Quick" help.

Here is my full bda.ini file unedited. To stop it thinking it's DVB-S

I thought it was perfect. I can watch HD channels now.
But I still have an issue on recording. Seems one HD channel is all snow and it's saving the file with an extension of MPG. If I have it record a different HD channel it works and has a PVR-MS extension.

Started a new thread for this issue.
