Channel Change Issue

I am trying to setup GB-PVR for the first time. I have the system largely setup and working (though it could use some performance tweaks). But there is one problem that I have been unable to solve. I can successfully change channel in live preview mode, but not in timeshift mode and scheduled recordings do not seem to attempt a channel change.

My capture source is set up as an external tuner (Dish 311) using an .exe channel changer that signals winLIRC to change the channel via a homebrew ir blaster. winLIRC works, the exe works in a command window, and the exe works in Live Preview mode. When I run in windowed mode I don't see any winLIRC activity when I attempt to change channels, suggesting my .exe is not being run.

My setup is as follows:

P4 2.4 GHZ processor
Nvidia 6200 GeForce PCI - Nvidia PureVideo(Trial Version) w/ Registry Edits
ATI Theatre 550 Capture Card/RF Remote Wonder
Creative Live!Drive Sound Blaster
winLIRC(for Homebrew Serial Blaster)
250G Maxtor Hard Drive

Anyone have any ideas?

winLIRC probably uses the clipboard for copying data between processes. Try going to control panel -> administrative tools -> services, then view the properties of the GBPVR Recording Service service and set it to 'allow service to interact with desktop', then try again.
