Where can I find the log file?

I looked in dir and only see a WizMetadataGrabber.xml

anything with a .log is related to comskip I think?

Not quite sure what you mean, but the logic to build the search title parses the filename and attempts to build the best search string. When attempting to build the show Title or Series/Episode name for the internet lookups, the following will be parsed from the title (simplified as there is actually more logic than just this):

char(s) will be removed: \ / : * ? $ * < > |
data between the following delimiters will be removed:
{} () []

So a filename like:
"G:\PVR\TV\Starship Troopers 3 Marauder (2008)(Violence)(2.5stars)_20081029_00000200.avi"
Is looked up as:
"Starship Troopers 3 Marauder"
