Ran the same test again. Was monitoring the log and then suddenly the log clear itself, like pvrx2 has restarted.

Got the black screen that my wife saw.

Could connect to telnet and so I gave it a reboot from there.

How do I go about a down grade? grab the old version of the firmware, and apply it to the root directory of a usb key?

I've reverted the firmware, and tested that file again, went all the way through. But on October firmware it died when through gbpvr and through native pch interface. Seemed to happen around the 20 min mark.

I remuxed the ts file that was giving me troubles, and it played fine after that. It look like this new firmware is less forgiving than the previous one.

Chris

I started running a remux on all my TS files using a modified version of the SuperSimpleArchiver batch file.

I tried a few different programs and discovered using FFMPeg with the following options remuxes an hour HD show in 6-10 minutes and the file works perfectly.

-y -i inputfile_name.ts -vcodec copy -acodec copy -f dvd output_filename.mpg
