did anyone get this to work right, i record in .ts/clear QAM and if anyone want to post their comskip ini for hd clear qam i would be most gracious

i have it working; default with the latest version of comskip 80.023. I am recording and cutting commercials off of an hdhomerun and my 1600 in clear QAM.

I'm going to watch this thread to see what people have that works - or not. I'd like to run .ts, but the commercial skipping is always badly out of sync for me, so I find I have to run dvr-ms. AFAICT, in my .ts recordings, the comskip commercial locating is done perfectly - counted by frames, but the player skips based on an estimate of frames, not an actual frame count, so playback is out of sync. If my understanding of this is correct, no amount of adjusting the comskip.ini parameters will fix this. If the commercials on your source are not at the same frame rate as the main program, playback will move out of sync. If your commercials are at the same frame rate, then it will work. OTOH, maybe I don't understand the problem and someone will enlighten me. |
