Try selecting 'all countries/all regions' then do a scan. If it doesnt find all the channels, post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Hi sub, any help gratefully accepted. I deleted cache files and rescanned - still no tvnz showing up. Log files attached as requested.

Can you also post the config.exe.log?

Maybe you have marginal signal on the TVNZ frequency?

You could also try ticking the 'ignore PMT CRC errors during scan' setting, in the config -> capture source -> recording source settings -> advance bda settings.

Mate, do you ever sleep. Smile

Doesn't make a difference. The other log file is attached here.

It's loud and clear in wintv, although that's analog. I doubt the signal is weak, I live fairly centrally, but is there any way to tell?

Analog on a different frequency, so not a good comparison. Its also probably VHF instead of DVB-T which is on UHF.

Not really on the PC. Most capture cards dont report their signal strength in any useful way, so they cant typically be used to check the signal. Having the TVNZ DVB-T channels working in some other software on the same PC would give a reasonable indication that the signal is fine.

Mediaportal found them, but couldn't tune them in. Oh well, I guess I'll stick with WinTV and Analogue. Thanks for trying all.

If it was unable to tune them in, thats probably another indication that your signal is not adequate.

If you're lucky it might just require a bit of antenna direction tweaking on the roof.
