Analogue Video

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting analogue video to work with PVRX2 on Windows 64bit using a Hauppauge 3000

I've been through the tuning assistant and found Prime TV on channel 319 and it shows the video there, so I've set that as the source channel.

But when ever I go to watch it, I get audio but no video. I've got it working with WinTV2000 so I know there is reception.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try setting your audio renderer back to 'system default'. It might help.

Sorry, I dont know. Analog out of these cards with no hardware encoder isnt offically supported, and its not something I actively test.

did you install the soft mce encoder
try different video decoders aswell
i find doing quick recordings rather than watching live is the best way of problem solving also

Ah, I thought the SoftPVR support add-on that came with the Hauppauge disk was what I needed. Installed SoftMCE and it works great
