I have a minor problem . . .
It seems that when I change channels amongst channels that are on the same multiplex I have no problems, the channel changes very quickly. However when the channels are on different multiplexes then it takes much longer and may never change. If I'm on an analog channel and punch the number in to go direct to a digital it works fine.
i.e. On Channel 111's multiplex I have PBS1 (111.1), PBS2 (111.2), a bunch of digital music channels, and Retro TV (111.52) and channel changes between those channels is fine.
On Channel 110 I have CBS (110.1), and ABC (110.2). And channel changes between them are fine.
If I try to change from say Retro TV, 111.52, to CBS, 110.1, then most of the time it will hang for a long time, if not forever. If I go to an analog and punch in a digital channel though it pops right up.
It's not a big deal as my analog feeds are good so I don't care about the networks in digital. All I really want is Retro TV and I do occasionally watch the digital PBS stations. I just found it curious and wondered if there is a fix for it . . . any ideas?
Thanks!
Steve
