PVXR2 doesn't run - no, this is not easy ;)

The dump indicates that the system "probably does not support VMR9". It does, it was running 1.2.9 fine before an unrelated crash required reconstruction, and it has had the both the latest Asus driver and the latest ATI dist., 9.1

All the other rendering choices fail in the same way: PVXR2 exits before display. The desktop is unaltered.

XP/SP3, all Microsoft patches, 3gb ram, Asus M3A78-EMH-HDMI motherboard, 780G graphics, 700MB shared memory, Athlon 64x2, 2.8gHz, two Hauppage 1250 cards.

This means you've installed some old patch, which is incompatible with the release you're using.

Do you mean a GB-PVR patch, or a Windows patch?

A GB-PVR patch. For example, you might be running 1.3.11, but have a version of installed a version of NativeUtilities.dll that was intended for 1.2.x.

Thank you. I have never installed a patch, I'm a "plain vanilla" user, but I did install 1.3.11 without clearing out the destination folder.

There is no other reports of the problem, but that is definitely what has happened some how.

You might need to uninstall, delete the directory, then reinstall, to be sure you've got the correct set of files.
