Streaming not working

I've looked through the forums and the wiki, maybe i'm just missing it but.

Whenever I run a client on any of my pc's they get the data off of the server but when I go to play either live or recorded, it just blinks to a black screen then blinks back to the listing..............never plays the data

No I turned my firewalls off to try and solve the problem before. No help.

Streaming mode is only compatible with .mpg files. You're using .ts files. With .ts files you have to use file sharing mode instead of streaming mode.

I just used the defaults I guess, How can I force everything to be in MPG mode, including live tv?

Also I tried File share mode and it does the same thing.

For .mpg files you either need be using an analog device, or digital device with Cyberlink or ATI mux. These muxes can be a bit hit or miss with ATSC highdef channels in the US, so you might be better off sticking with file sharing mode.

If you copy the file locally, does it play?

With VLC it does. Not inside pvrx2

If its not going to play from a local file on that machine then its not going to play remotely either. Its most likely missing decoders or similar. If you post the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log showing the attempt to play locally, I'll take a look.
