That'll mean that the drivers allows the tuner/capture filters to be connected in non-functional combinations (for example tuner from second device, to capture filter from first device). The drivers are supposed to disallow this.

If disabling autodetect is working fine, then it should be ok.

Hi,
I recently also put two Cinergy C HD PCI cards into my system (a cinergy 1200 already in place working), facing the same problems. After setting the BDAAutoDetectTuner from true to false I got my cards to both tune chanels in the config application. Unfortunately they won't record at the same time.

@Innocence: Did you get both cards to record at the same time? If so what revision of the terratec driver are you using?

I got both cards to record at the same time by using 1.1.0.701 for the one and 1.1.0.601 for the other. But the recording of one card is absolutely not watchable (video like a 10sec slight show, audio fragmented), the other is perfect.

Any ideas?

Actually I just returned to GBPVR, after I found out it now supports DVB subtitles, and I'm trying to set it up again from scratch, so far without any luck - none of the tuners show anything, but I'm sure it's something I missed.

I'm running with 1.1.0.601 drivers. I'm surprised you're also newer drivers since I cannot find any newer ones on the Terratec page :confused:

I know that last time I tried GBPVR I had not problems recording with either or both cards, so I sure hope nothing's broken in the meantime

Hi Innocence,
the driver version 1.1.0.701 are on the CD I got with the cards. But they seem to be a little buggy.

I got the whole system working by giving the 1.1.0.601 driver to both cards. With the newer one it didn't work.

Regarding your acctual problem: Have you entered the part for the card in the bda.ini? Described in this thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=35905

Actually the card already existed in bda.ini, but I couldn't make it work till I added situation-marks around the filter names, like this:
Code:
FILTER_TUNER="Cinergy C PCI Digital Tuner"
FILTER_CAPTURE="Cinergy C PCI Digital Capture"
Seems to work fine now, although I haven't tested extensively Smile
