Hauppauge HVR-1600 configuring remote

Running a Hauppauge 1600 WITH GBPVR 1.3.11 and have problems getting the remote to function with the gbpvr software. These are the configuration steps i have used:

Channel Changer: .exe Changer Plugin; Settings= Executable: C\Program Files\Denz\GBPVR\HaupBlast.exe

Under Configuration DVD tab The remote is set to Default {Hauppauge}; I have used "Fix Hauppauge Remote Settings {45 Channel}; the restarted the the Hauppauge IR.exe.

As I understand from reading you can Use the GBPVR software to control the remote. Im not having much luck. Cant seem to get it to work

The remote works fine with WinTV, and GBPVR. using ir.exe, but is slow on channel changes with GBPVR.

This is what im trying to accomplish:

TV button starts WinTv, I would like to change that to start GBPVR.

Power button does Nothing, can it be programmed to put System in sleep mode?

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

You should only do this if you're trying to use a Hauppauge IR Blaster to control an external set top cable/satellite box. If you dont need to control a set top box, then set the channel changer to 'None', or you'll be slowing down the channel changes.

I am having trouble with the HVR-1600 remote on my new system here, which is running Win 7 and the latest Hauppauge drivers.

When I look at "C:\windows\irremote.ini", I am not seeing any reference in there to GBPVR.

Yes, I did make the correct selection in Config when I installed (doubled checked that) and Restarted IR.

Could this be an issue with the latest Hauppauge driver or Windows 7?

FWIW - the remote works fine with the Hauppauge WinTV7 and Win 7 Media Center.

Did you click the 'Fix Hauppauge Remote Settings' button in the config app and follow the instructions about restarting IR32.exe?

Thought I had done it before. Anyway, "triple checked"...and now it's working.
