dvb-s scanning issue

hi guys,

having some issues with my dvb-s card (pinnacle 7010ix) - cant seem to get any signal from it any more, have tried multiple rescans, swapping splitters, straight into card with no splitters, etc etc - dvb viewer seems to come up with signal - at my wits end...

gbpvr detects as BlackGold BGT3540 DVB-S

In those logs everything looks fine, but the device never manages to lock onto a signal.

Make sure you have your LNB settings correct, the dish is still poining the correct direction etc...

Sad to say my 7010x died a couple of weeks ago.
DVB-S only tuned low frequencies and DVB-T went almost deaf.

hrm, lnb settings are right + dish is definitely fine as ive only just removed my sky boxes today. I wonder if the card is failing to provide enough power to the lnb...

used dvb viewer + found using 10750 for lnb switch seemed to be causing the problem - changed this to zero, no fix, changed to 12750 as per a post on geekzone.co.nz and all seems to be scanning well hopefully this'll help someone else in the future!
