GB-PVR has been working great, but am not able to tune some channels after the DTV conversion in the US. I want to do a rescan, but don't want to mess it up.. Hopefully someone can give me a pointer in the right direction..

I can't remember where the gobbilty-gook in the Tuning Request came from (it was years ago when I set it up), ie T:53,5,1~P:3~V:49~A:52~PMT:48~N:>5.1 WRAL HD (eng). Is this populated automatically when I rescan? Was it something that would have took a long time to figure out??

Just a pointer in the right direction would be great!

GB-PVR 1.3.11
Vbox Cat's Eye 3560 USB HD Tuner
Schedules Direct EPG
OTA Signal in the US.

Rescanning shouldnt effect any of the existing channel mappings (until you click on tuning request column for that channel). It'll just add additional results to the dropdown 'tuning request' combo box that is shown.

If you're concerned, you can always backup your gbpvr.db3 file beforehand, so you can easily get back to where you were if you need to.

Yes, the scan automatically populates that stuff.
