Can I get the TV Guide to hide channels I'm not using?

In the "Edit Recording Source" window, I have several channels not activated because the xml file has redundant channels, and because there are some channels I don't care about. But, they're still showing up in the TV Guide, and sometimes the redundant channels come up and make things cluttered. Can I get the TV Guide to hide those channels?

Nevermind, I got it. I just deleted the channels from that screen instead of simply unchecking them.
