I see it exploding in vidImport.

GBPVR filenames don't typically have _ in them except to denote the times so your extra _ fooled its very simple gbpvr syntax routine (basically a split on _) try this version I use regex instead in a more robust manner,

You're the author, so I'll take your word for it that there was a problem. Still, it's odd that I didn't see it.

Yess! The new version imported all the odd names that MP creates without crash. Thanks a lot!

I'v said it before and I say it again: the GBVR-forum must be the best support forum in this part of the universe Big Grin

It was more than just _ (underscores) as the problem, the filename also had to be in what vidimport thinks is gbpvr format with the date , start and end time otherwise it skips the steps that happen causing the issue (basically using the filename to get a start and end time) I guess the bonus here is with MP files you get that info imported as well.

Thanks. That's sort of what I expected and explains why I never saw it. My test files never had a name close enough to that format to trigger the error.
