Hi,

I have a Toshiba Hybrid DVB-T Tuner running on a Windows XP SP3 machine. My tuner isn't recognised by GB-PVR but I finally got it to work by following some instructions on the wiki page. I've scanned for channels and it has found all four that it was meant to and has also automatically downloaded the EPG for them.

HoweverSad.... when I go to view a channel I hear about half a second of sound and I see a black screen. After a few more seconds a message appears saying:

"No signal detected. Please ensure that the antenna cable is connected or that the antenna signal is strong"
It also shows both quality and strength bars as empty.

I think I have all the codecs required and the antenna is obviously picking up the channels (it found them in the scan and the EPG) so I'm not sure what's wrong. Can anyone shed some light on my problem?

Reproduce the problem and post the logs and I'll take a look.

It looks like its unable to find an H.264 video decoder. You typically need the ArcSoft or Cyberlink H.264 video decoder installed to be able to view this type of channel.

I've downloaded Arcsoft TotalMedia 3.5 and chosen the codec in the GB-PVR config program but it's still not working.

Out of curiosity I launched the TotalMedia program and that worked fine! I've attached the latest logs again so maybe you will have a look at them if you get a chance. Thanks again!
