Yes that is still the same problem. Can you try to stop the recording service and delete the web\bin folder in the GBPVR directory and start again? Also is this Vista 64?

I found it!
When I was trying to get shares working I changed the recording service to a different user. When I switched it back, I did not notice interact with desktop was unchecked. I checked it and all seems to work.

Since your installer checks this box, you had no way to know it was unchecked. Yes, it is a 64 bit system.

Great, you may have needed the reboot after the install too, some people do.
