movie wall skin?

Hi Guys,
I am a long time NMT user who accidentally stumbled across GB-PVR whilst actually looking for another NMT type device that had more functionality and the GB-PVR possibilities looked fantastic.

So I have installed it no problems and have had a bit of a play early in the mornings or late at night when it is not being used, but the only stumbling block for me at this point is the movie selection interface. With my NMT i had been running YAMJ with a movie wall type skin (showing 27 movie box covers per page) and i would like to have that sort of interface with GB-PVR. Is there a skin or plugin that will allow this?

I dont think there is currently any video plugin that provides this feature.

Thanks for the quick reply sub, and i also have to say thank you for the great work you have done on this project.

Is there anybody interested in a interface like this? Personally i am not capable of making it but maybe we could hassle some of the skin guys at the NMT forums to do a port like what was started in this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=42640.

have you tried the other views in video library? [Icon view, hit blue button in vid lib]

and a little play with the skins could yield something similar...

While their are iconic views I don't think any plugin provides a movie wall like experience. Sub did produce a framework http://www.devnz.com/SDK/tile.htm but I haven't seen any implementations. To do this properly with useful rendering speed would probably require the skin/plugin to tested and optimized on an MVP/NMT because the time to generate these on the fly could be a challenge. Sage, 7mc, and XBMC have some models for developers., but honestly for the PCH the option are pretty good.and it would be hard to beat artistically. I don't use them because I can't bear the time required to build the images.
