I would like to add the program description information to either MPG files or convert them to DVR-MS files and add it there so that the information shows up in Windows 7 Media Center.
Is this possible with GBPVR and if so how?
Looking in "recording-dump.xml" the information I need is already there in the description field.
Thanks
Kevin

Looks like you just answered your own question. Just add the MPG info to the recording.dump.xml and import it from the GBPVR config app (plugins tab). There may be some automated ways to do this in the Wiki.

He misread your post. I'm not sure how you would import the data into Media Center. You might want to check thegreenbutton forums. Ztools might add metadata to mpg files too.

Can you edit metadata for a video file by right-clicking on it in windows explorer and selecting properties?
