The GBPVRrecordingservice.exe reports an error whenever it is supposed to record:
Application has generttated an exception that could not be hanlded
Process id: 0x12 (300), THread id: 0x44c (1100).

I have been losing shows, and am not happy about it.  Not sure what went wrong.  Any help would be appreciated.

If it is recommended to unintstall and reinstall, please advise as to how to keep my database, if possible.

Thanks.

What can I say - I'm sorry. I am trying my best.

Can you send a copy of the logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look. I dont think I've seen any other reports of this error.

Sub,
Its not you who should be sorry, its me.
I had it working fine, and something went kaput.
I can't reproduce the problem, because I reinstalled the program, then I changed a batch of settings.
Now I can't get timeshift TV anymore. I think I am going to uninstall, and then reinstall, and give up on my database, unless you can tell me how to save it.
I really appreciate all your hard work, and your fast responses.

Probably you're best bet is to copy your gbpvr.mdb file to another directory, then uninstall, delete the gb-pvr director, then reinstall. Next copy the gbpvr.mdb file back into the directory. This will retain your capture source and all it's recordings, but will need the settings like decoders etc to be reset.
