Does Hauppauges Blastcfg.exe work ok outside of gbpvr?
hcwutl32.dll is part of their drivers, if blastcfg doesn't work, this needs fixing first.

(sorry, I have pvr150, but not win7 yet, so can't confirm that [vr150 IR it works with W7).

As Martin suggested, its worth seeing if BlastCfg works. This will at least tell you if the device blaster is functional in Win7.

BlastCfg does not work, the drivers for the card were downloaded from the hauppauge website, the card itself is recognized fine by the OS I can't beleive I'm the first one actually posting about this issue...

If BlastCfg is not functioning, then unfortunately HaupBlast.exe isnt going to function either.

I hate to pass the buck, but you might need to hassle Hauppauge over this one.

It may just be some weird condition that has caused it to be non-functional on your machine, rather than a general "PVR150 blaster doesnt work with Win7" type of thing, and a driver reinstall might fix. I dont really know.

Did the drivers you downloaded and installed include the IRBlastwiz ones?
Certainly for XP they were separate from the tuner drivers and I had to install them on their own.
