Channel Changer problems

I have a HD-PVR and am using the included remote and blaster, with the haupblast.exe. Other than {channel}, is there any other parameters that I need to include as when I click on live tv or use the guide to select a channel, it displays whatever channel the STB is tuned into then about 5 seconds later it goes and changes the channel to what I want to watch so gb-pvr thinks that the hd-pvr has stopped and just goes back to the main menu or guide. So apparently I need it to change the channel before anything is displayed in gb-pvr, how to I correct this?

Unfortunately the HD-PVR doesnt work well with its own IR Blaster. Most people here are using it with a 3rd party blaster. There are some minor improvements to this in the next release though.
