I've got GBPVR running for the past week or so, accumulating some PBS shows that I'd like to watch on my TV in the other room using MediaMVP.
I tried running the MVP in GBPVR emulation mode but I didn't like what I saw - lockups, menu text running off the screen, no video or audio when trying to playback shows. (rev D3A MVP if that matters)
Until I can spend a lot of time fiddling, I'd rather just use the Hauppauge MVP software and watch my recordings as I'm used to that - except I can't play .TS files.
Questions:
- what conversion do I pick to convert my .TS files into for the MVP player to play them? Is this on the config program under the processing tab?
- Is the MVP player capable of 16:9 output for shows I'm recording OTA that are in 16:9 format?
- Any reason I should stick with .TS files and not do post processing of the files?
TIA,
Dave
