Trying to add digital channels to an analog setup

Hey Folks,

I have been on analog for a while now and I am trying to add my digital channels via Systemshark's great instructions.

I found out I had digital channels when I did a scan with my TV tonight and found a ton.

I tried to map the channels after adding the digital tuner for the hvr 2250 and none were found in ATSC but they were in QAM.

Now I tried to add a few, but ran into problems below.

Now I can't preview the QAM channels with video, audio only. Ah!

How do I integrate the guide so it uses both analog and digital channels?

You have to set up a separate capture source for the digital tuner, and when you map channels to this tuner, they show up in the guide. You wil have to add the channels to your EPG source so you have EPG data if they already are not there. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I already set up another capture source in addition to my original 2 analog sources.

I used the link to the PDF to try to set it up, but the digital channels did not integrate.

I have some digital channels, but since I can't preview I can't map all the channels. Any tips?
