You mention that GBPVR and NPVR can coexist on the same machine. I assume that it just requires that we don't have both programs trying to record at the same time from the same tuner cards.
You mention that analog programs will be stored in .ts files. I assume this means that once the analog capture card has completed writing the file to disk in mpg format a software transcoding will be performed to change the format. Is this the case or will the re-encoding be performed while the program is being captured?
What about the files of already recorded programs. I have approximately 500GB of recorded programs, most of them analog but a growing number of them are .ts format. Do they need to all be re-encoded into .ts format? When would this be done? During installation? when the file is recalled for playback? at some other time?
