MVP Server Window Appearing

yeah been fiddling a little to much newa wouldnt work on 8866 but did on 7666
hadnt tried the popcornhour after changing it
will change it back and try setting router up again

sorry for been a pain

right went over what you said Martin
I then read a post somewhere that said if on Xp(and i am)
if you have the interact with desktop selected the mvp server window will popup.
So i deselected it.
Now it does what i want.

But what have i broken by doing this ?

You don't want to untick it, it probably isn't running at all right now. This just might be an XP thing.

You probably have to open port 8866 in the firewall, I remember having similar problems way back, just allowing PVRX2 and recording service in the firewall settings was not enough on XP SP3.
