Skipped files on upgrade to 1.5.21 Beta

Hi

I've just upgraded from NPVR 1.5.19 having made sure that the three NRecord.exe/NTray.exe/NextPVR.exe processes were not running. I had already closed the tray icon so only had to stop NRecord.

Anyhow the setup seemed to install ok but when I checked the details I had loads of skipped files. Also my setup window says this is version 1.5.20.

Is this a problem?

The skipped files just means the file that is being installed is the same as the one you already have installed this is normal & mine says it's 1.5.20 as well.

Yeah skipped files are already up to date.

I'd accidentally left the version at 1.5.20 in the config.xml. I've updated this file in the installer so future downloads will correctly say 1.5.21. I wouldnt bother reinstalling just to get this small change though.

I did wonder whether the skipped files were just current versions that did not need updating. (Honest!)

I hope you didn't mind me checking though, I know a similar "error message" existed with the original Beta version installer.
