recording files not being deleted automatically

When the recording service automatically deletes a recorded episode of a season recording because of the # to keep setting, it deletes the recording from the database but doesn't actually delete the file. Is this a bug or a permissions issue?

Thanks sub, I'll swap in the new version sometime tonight. I think we have recordings running continuously from 7:00pm to midnight on tuesdays though, so it may be awhile.

as far as I can see the patch did not help. I just found for a recording that showed 8 in the database (limit of 4 recordings on two different channels), I had about 35 recording files. These were all new, not leftover from before the patch.

edit: I don't seem to have any logs that show anything useful. However I just triple checked, and I have 4 recordings of a recurring recording that is limited to 4, and a new recording scheduled for an hour from now. Presuming it fails to delete the file again, I'll post the NRecord.log covering the beginning and end of that recording.

ok, here is the log. It's the 22:30 recording of Zula Patrol we're talking about, not the Seinfeld (which started first). It claims it deleted the extra recording:

I just got done cleaning up 150+GB of orphaned recording files on my drive.

The date and time on my NRecord.exe is 7/14/2010, 1:36pm.

The auto-deletion of the recording files is working fine with 1.5.28, except it doesn't clean up the extra comskip-related files (*.log, *.edl, *.txt). Those files do get cleaned up properly when deleting a file from Recordings, just not when they're auto-deleted. I think they also don't get cleaned up when deleting a recording file from Videos.
