QAM recording fails

I have set up the digital tuner on my HVR2250 and the results are disappointing. More often than not, the TS streams are empty. I see mentions of failure in the logs, but I have no idea why. I do know sometimes when watching the HVR usint WinTV, I need to tune twice to the channel

System:
Windows 7 64 Ultimate
HVR1600 (latest drivers from Hauppauge)
HVR2250 (latest drivers from Hauppauge)
GBPVR - I need to keep GBPVR until I get a NMT in house.

I am attaching the logs. Does NPVR do any better? Does NPVR handle the HDHomeRun any better? Is there a more detailed set of instructions for manual scanning with the HDHomeRun?

I appreciate all the work you put into GBPVR. It really is a great piece of software. I am just getting caught up in the cycle of failing tuners and the digital transition.

Thinking it through, I think I know what happened. The first three programs took all of the analog tuners and when the fourth program was attempted, due to padding times, the digital tuner on the HVR2250 was select. However, the 2250 was already busy with 2 analog programs and as such the attempt to grab the tuner failed.

I have had issues where the recording fails entirely, and I don't believe other shows were trying to record at the time.
