NPVR Fails to Read Information from EPG

BrettB, I think SD uses just the number anyway, why are you bothering with a grabber?

I think because that was the only way to do it back when Schedules Direct was first created.

And also because I use UltraXMLTV Enhancer to:

1. Mark new episodes with an "*" so that my recurring recording rules could pick just the new episodes (I think that NextPVR may have added support for this type of functionality when scheduling recurring recordings, but it doesn't have any visible display in the guide to indicate new or not)
   
2. Update the description field to include the orignial air date
   
3. Add the guests and actors to the end of the description field

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I have seen this problem with EPG data coming from Schedules Direct via the xmltv.exe grabber. (See the original post in this thread from 2010. AND I've had this problem happen twice in the last 2-3 weeks. The same work-around "fixes" the problem and gets NextPVR to properly import the EPG data. (from the exact same xmltv data file)

That's still a data problem though - not a bug in NextPVR.

EDIT: from your other posts, it sounds like it's a data problem being created by UltraXMLTV.

BrettB you probably need to keep back up copies of sd.xml to see what really is happening here.
