Disabling GBPVR for transition to NPVR

What is the recommended way of disabling GBPVR when transitioning to NPVR? I don't want to uninstall it until I know I have things working on NPVR. I have bunch of reoccurring recordings setup in it that I plan to move to NPVR once it is working.
Windows 7 Premium 32-Bit, Intel i5 750, ASUS P7P55D, 4gb ram, ATI RADEON HD 4550, 5 sata drives, HVR2250, HDPVR, COMSKIP, PCH A100, EGreat 34a, VideoReDo, SA 4240HDC

Just disable the GBPVR Recording Service, and don't start up GBPVR.

I've still got mine running just not set to record anything. I've been meaning to nuke it completely as I see no reason to keep it. It served me well but all good things come to an end.
