Client Playback Issue

Thanks - I did have slashes in the server name which I have taken out and that error has gone from the log. Unfortunately I am still getting the same black screen when trying to play via the recordings screen.
There are a number of "element not found" lines in the log now (attached) referring to the skin directory. Do you know what might be causing that? I haven't changed anything in that folder.

Did you share the actual NPVR data-directory? If it is on C: you cannot share the root of C: and give the path from there, so the best is to share the directory itself. On the client it would look like "\\Lyra\NPVR" where Lyra is the server name and NPVR is the share name of npvr data-directory.

Well....I'm a bit embarrassed. I updated the patches etc but it wasn't that. Turns out I didn't have the firewalls set up properly and had missed some of the programs. Thanks for all the help and sorry for wasting your time with a basic error - I know you've got better things to do.

I just want to make sure of something though - did you install the 1.5.33 version AND do the patches, or did you just load the patches on the version you had (which was 1.5.31)? I'm just concerned about the way you worded it.
