Not sure what the heck is causing this. It was cooking along fine until 12/11, recordings are showing up as "failed" or "ready", but when I try to play one with "ready" status, it blinks back to the recorded list.

I'm stumped.

GBPVR wasnt very good at reporting if/why a recording failed. It'd only give you a 'failed' if the recording service wasnt running at recording time. If it was running, but it failed to start the device, or numerous other problems, then it'd be marked as ready. So, check on disk and you'll probably find those marked as ready that blink back to the recording list are unplayable zero byte files.

NPVR is much better at reporting any problems encountered.

The only recording showing in those logs looks like it didn't write anything to the disk. Either the tuner was delivering no data, or the the disk was full.
Code:

I checked the disk space, i have over 250G available.

So, I guess tuner wasn't delivering data.... Can't imagine why that would happen though.

I'll look to update to NPVR once sched direct and comm advance kick in. Oh, and I really need the client mode, can't remember if NPVR has that yet.

Should be in a week or so.

NPVR has always had the same comskip abilities as GBPVR.
