Playing ISO files in NPVR 1.5.36

Sub, you mentioned that "There is no DVD playback support in NPVR on the NMT devices. It'll probably get it in some future release though". That doesn't include ISO files does it? In the last version of NPVR I was able to play them.

I don't think ISO playback on the NMT has ever been supported in NPVR. One of the changes in 1.5.36 might allow this, but I will have to check over the next week.

Merry Christmas to you too. Actually as luck would have it, which you probably found before, you can play iso files if you select the folder and click play on the folder name when it is stored like this

Martin, If I understand the above correctly I should now be able to play ISOs directly on the NMT without any preceeding specific mount commands. However, I am not getting this to work. I have put a single iso file "L___movie.iso" in a directory and then I am trying to press play on the directory level.

Is there any other configuration needed? or any conditions that need to be fulfilled?

No sorry for the confusion. The mount is still needed in the cgi file and the filename is just anyname.iso The L___ was to show it is in a folder and you press play on the folder not on anyname.dvd. This is not really by design since sub technically never implemented DVD playback to the PCH in NPVR, but fortunately it works using the "Play All" logic
